By using SimplerPool ("we," "us," "the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
SimplerPool provides pump-scheduling calculations, water-chemistry dosing guidance, and an AI-guided setup assistant ("your AI Coach") for residential and light-commercial swimming pools. Free-tier and paid-tier features are described on our pricing page and may change over time — we'll update this page and the pricing page together if they do.
SimplerPool's calculations and AI-generated guidance are approximate starting points, not exact prescriptions or professional pool-service advice. Chemical dosing amounts must always be verified against the actual product label before use. Never mix pool chemicals directly. You are responsible for your own pool's safety, water quality, and equipment — SimplerPool is a planning and educational tool, not a substitute for a licensed pool professional where one is required or advisable.
You need a valid email address to create an account. We use passwordless sign-in (a one-time link emailed to you) rather than passwords. You're responsible for keeping access to your own email account secure, since that's how sign-in works.
Paid plans (One-Time Report, Subscription, and Pool Route tiers) are billed through Stripe, our payment processor. Subscriptions and Route plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the "Manage billing" link in the app, which opens Stripe's secure billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles and stores all payment information directly.
SimplerPool may recommend pool chemicals and equipment and link to third-party retailers to purchase them. Some of these links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. We aim to recommend generic-equivalent products at a fair price, not the highest-commission option. We are not the seller of record for these products — your purchase, shipping, and any returns are governed by the third-party retailer's own terms, not ours.
Don't use SimplerPool to violate any law, to attempt to access other users' accounts or data, to interfere with the Service's operation, or to abuse the AI features (e.g. attempting to extract system prompts, generate harmful content, or send excessive automated requests).
SimplerPool is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for pool equipment damage, water-chemistry incidents, injury, or any other loss arising from reliance on calculations, AI-generated guidance, or product recommendations provided by the Service. Always verify dosing against product labels and use professional judgment for anything safety-critical.
You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
